Welcome to America's Oldest Falconry Club
Founded by Al Nye and Bob Stabler in 1933, the club was re-constituted in 2013 for the purpose of uniting falconers around the peregrine falcon.
The Peregrine Club of Philadelphia (PCP) is a group of like-minded individuals organized around the art and sport of falconry. As individuals we enjoy the practice of our art, as a group we work to protect our rights and the well being of raptors.
We would like to see one consistent set of regulatory standards based on sound biological and legal reasoning.
To protect and preserve the art and practice of falconry for future generations and to protect falconers’ rights, we hereby declare ourselves as an affiliation known as the Peregrine Club of Philadelphia. We are dedicated to the art of trapping, training and hunting with raptors. It is also our intention to pursue the broadest liberties possible that are not in conflict with legitimate conservation efforts based upon sound biological and legal reasoning.
